Chinese New Year 2017

We are pleased to advise that The Food Truck Park™ will once again be a major attraction at next year’s Chinese New Year event at Queensbury Square – Southbank to celebrate the 2017 Year of The Fire Rooster.

The 2017 event will be a major step up from this year’s event with Southbank being the festival centre. Each day, over the course of 17 festival days, Southbank will host craft markets, entertainment, bar and Chinese lighting installations. The main red stage will be a major feature which will include daily activities plus fireworks over two weekends.

This event is open to all Asian vendors (including marquee operators).
Non-Asian vendors – you must present in your application an Asian fusion menu specialised for the event. Without attachment your application will not be reviewed.

Event Location:
Queensbridge Square, Southbank

Event Time:
11:30am – 9:00pm (approx.) Serving Lunch & Dinner

Event Fee:
Upfront Fee: $120.00 (This is a once off payment – Gold members exempt)
Plus Daily fee: 15% of gross revenue payable within 5 days of receiving our invoice.

Power:
We anticipate this to be a powered site, successful vendors will be advised.

Type of Vendors:
The expression of interest is open to all mobile food trucks, trailers, small carts and marquee
operators. You can choose to operate one or as many days as you wish.

Non-Asian vendors who present an Asian fusion menu for our review and approval maybe
consider.

There are no spilt shifts; vendors must operate during the specified trading times. There are no
bump outs until The Food Truck Park™ is closed in the afternoon/ evening. Therefore, you will need
to arrange your staff in accordance to the trading hours.

Successful vendors will be advised by email.
